Religious Art in the Netherlands: architecture

On April 6, 2002 in the library of Russian Christian Institute for the Humanities was the presentation of photoexhibition "Religious art of the Netherlands: architecture".

The exposition is devoted to religious spirit of the modern Netherlands brightly expressed in their religious architecture. Amsterdam, Nijmegen, Breda, Utrecht, Tilburg and Hague... The fragments of internal furniture of cathedrals and their external architectural shape are embodied in photos represented at the exhibition. Echoes of Roman epoch, Middle Ages and Renaissance, the spirit of East and modern style - all this lives in the Netherlands on harmonic synthesis...

Were are teachers, students and visitors of Russian Christian Institute of the Humanities on the presentation.

The exhibition will be extended till May 15, 2002. After that it's constant allocation will be on the site Religious Life in the Netherlands.
